SecondMuse is building a network of incubation\r\nand acceleration programs in Indonesia and within the region, focusing on ocean\r\nissues. We are looking for a Assistant Program Manager to co-lead our Ocean Plastic\r\nPrevention Accelerator (OPPA) program.\r\nThis is a full-time position based in Surabaya and will report to the OPPA Program Manager. The initial employment period\r\nis 3 months with the possibility of extending to a 1 year contract upon satisfactory performance.

\r\n\r\n1. \r\nPlanning and implementation of OPPA\r\nprogram initiatives: Co-lead the creation of work plans for the implementation of\r\ninitiatives.
\r\n\r\n2. \r\nA bit of facilitating: Facilitate\r\nworkshops and other program activities for\r\nwaste-related organisations, and provide personal mentorship for program participants.\r\nSupport existing waste management ventures to expand into Surabaya.
\r\n\r\n3. \r\nA bit of networking: Leverage your\r\nsocial skills to establish and maintain relationships with potential partners, collaborators,\r\nsponsors, and key stakeholders.
\r\n\r\n4. \r\nA bit of hosting: Host program supporters\r\nand potential partners in Surabaya, and introduce them to the local waste management ecosystem.
\r\n\r\n5. \r\nA bit of project management: Support\r\nthe team in the timely and successful delivery\r\nof OPPA program initiatives.
\r\n\r\n6. \r\nA bit of quality assurance: Co-manage\r\nquality, ensuring that deliverables are\r\nexceptional and meet our objectives and expectations.\r\nReview deliverables before they are finalised.
\r\n\r\n7. \r\nA bit of evaluation: Support post-project\r\ndocumentation and review (monitoring and evaluation requirements).
\r\n\r\n8. \r\nA bit of sharing: Utilise company-wide\r\nbest practices. Capture project learnings and participates in sharing learnings\r\nacross project teams and the broader company.
\r\n\r\n9. \r\nA bit of peer-learning: Work alongside\r\npeers executing programs in other locations to learn from, and share best practice.

This\r\njob is definitely NOT for you if you:
1. \r\nAren’t fluent in Bahasa Indonesia,\r\nboth oral and written, and not eager to learn
2. \r\nEast Java community characteristics.
3. \r\nDon’t have intermediate English\r\ncommunication skills.
4. \r\nHave no extensive experience in\r\nproject management, planning and implementation. Ideally, you have 5-10 years work experience and show evidence of a minimum\r\nof 2-3 years experience in independently\r\nleading project teams.
5. \r\nHave never worked in a highly collaborative team environment.
6. \r\nDo not see diversity as the strength of the team.
7. \r\nAre not an Indonesian citizen.
Even\r\nbetter, if you already know:
1. \r\nHuman-centered design principles.
2. \r\nInnovation methodologies such as hackathons, business accelerators, incubation,\r\ncollaborative design and challenges.
3. \r\nExperience in mentoring people and\r\nteams, ideally in a social innovation context.
4. \r\nPlastic and waste management sector\r\nin Indonesia.
5. \r\nKnow about operational processes\r\nwithin large NGOs, government institutions or corporates.
6. \r\nWorking environments of virtual\r\nteams distributed across different locations.
