Lowongan Kerja Perikanan : Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Aquaculture Programme (UNIDO)

Job summary:

As Chief Operations Officer (COO) you will provide technical contributions and coordinate the implementation of a 3 year technical assistance programme that intends to build competitiveness and compliance capacity of seaweed, pangasius, shrimp, milkfish and catfish value chains. You will work directly under the supervision of project Chief  Technical Advisor and cooperate with other experts.

Requirements:

You should have a post graduate university degree in fisheries and aquaculture or related subjects, 10-15 years of experience in fisheries and aquaculture, in-depth expertise in one or more of the target value chains. You have a strong understanding of the sector, and have a very good understanding of sector’s institutional set-up and major  stakeholders. You are aware of the mega trends affecting the sector and able to interpret their implication for the sector in terms of development opportunities, challenges and risks.

You are confident to coordinate implementation of project activities between public and private institutions, beneficiaries and project senior experts. You have excellent communication skills, both in Bahasa and English and you are able to relate to people with diverse background such as high-ranking officials, technical experts and industry actors.
